WHAT ARE NANO MACHINE HAIRSTROKES?
Nano machine hairstrokes are more forgiving on the skin in the long run. The needle causes very little skin trauma. The design of a nano brow is what sets this technique apart from Microblading. Nano can be super creative. Artists are able to cross strokes and get them very close together, which is unachievable with Microblading. Overall Nano can be very hyper realistic (Microblading too) but there is more room for creativity. Although similar in look, the technique is completely different, using a cosmetic tattoo machine and nano needle instead of a hand tool and nano blade. Nano is an ideal service for any skin type.
*Touch-ups are suggested once a year in order to keep the color and shape fresh.
WHAT IS MICROBLADING AND COSMETIC TATTOO SHADING?
Microblading, or the "feathered fluffy look" mimics the look of hair strokes using a sterile hand tool and nano blade to implant pigment into the skin. Microblading can enhance your eyebrows, creating symmetry and adding fullness. It is considered a tattoo and permanent makeup, but will fade over time. It looks most natural on clients who already have semi full brows and just wanting to perfect their shape. Microblading heals best on young, healthy and dry/normal skin. Oily skin and aged skin is not recommended for Microblading and will not heal as well or look as natural. If you have oily skin, it is best to go with Microblading + Cosmetic Tattoo Shading or Nano Machine Hairstrokes.
Microblading is performed with a hand tool and nano blade. Shading is performed using a cosmetic tattoo machine. Microblading hair strokes will be added throughout the brow to mimic hair strokes and shading will be applied in between strokes to give the appearance of a filled in brow. This service is great for clients that want Microblading but also want their brows to look more filled in. It looks most natural on clients who already have semi full brows and just wanting to perfect their shape. Microblading with cosmetic tattoo shading is best for dry/normal skin types.
*Touch-ups are suggested once a year in order to keep the color and shape fresh.
WHAT IS BROW LAMINATION?
Brow Lamination is also know as the brow lift. Typically, one's natural brow hair growth is upward in the front, outward in the middle and down in the tail. Lamination relaxes and lifts the brow hair so that when you brush and/or apply brow gel to set them in an upward direction, they appear larger. This service is non-invasive and creates temporary fluffy, filled in brows to last 6-8 weeks. Get the look without a cosmetic tattoo. This service comes with a stain and shape to create a filled in finished look. Results are instant and there is no healing process.
WHAT IS A TOUCH-UP?
A Touch-Up appointment is the second step of this service and is required to ensure you get the best possible healed results. This is scheduled 6-8 weeks after your initial session. I will touch-up any areas and adjust anything necessary depending on how you have healed from the first session. It is very normal for new clients to want to start subtle in their first session and then go bigger or bolder at touch-up. Please keep in mind that everyone heals differently. It is very important you follow all after-care instructions because it affects your healing and pigment retention.
*Initial Touch-Up price is only honored for appointments up to 10 weeks after initial session. Any touch-ups booked after the 10 week mark will be considered an Additional Touch-Up or Color Boost depending on how much time has passed by.
HOW DO I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?

I require 48 hours notice to make any changes to your appointment. Any cancellations outside of the cancellation time frame or no shows will be charged a fee of 50% of the total price of the service. This is a time-consuming procedure and there are limited time slots available. Thank you for your understanding!

HOW LONG WILL MY SEMI-PERMANENT COSMETICS LAST?
A cosmetic tattoo is designed to fade over time. There are factors that will affect the longevity of the tattoo such as skin type, lifestyle, age, metabolism, medical conditions, medications and pigment color. To take care of your brows, follow the after-care instructions and attend all necessary touch-ups. Touch-ups are normal and expected for permanent cosmetics. It is important to keep in mind that maintenance is required after receiving a cosmetic tattoo.
*Final results will vary by person and cannot be guaranteed due to the nature of skin as it heals.
WHAT FACTORS WILL AFFECT MY COSMETIC TATTOO?
Oily skin can cause hair strokes to blur and heal lighter and powdery.
Smoking will cause your cosmetic tattoo to fade faster.
Anemia will cause your body to absorb the iron based pigments more quickly.
Sun exposure will cause premature fading. It's important to wear sunscreen or protect your face with a hat.
A high metabolism will cause the pigment to fade faster.
Excessive bleeding during your procedure will greatly affect your pigment retention. Bleeding will force the pigment out of the area we are working on. It is very important to follow before instructions and avoid alcohol, caffeine and blood thinning medications for 24 hours before your procedure.
WILL I FEEL PAIN DURING THE PROCEDURE?
For Microblading, we will initially numb your brow area with a topical cream containing 5% Lidocaine for 20 minutes prior to starting your session to keep you comfortable during the first part of your procedure. A secondary anesthetic numbing gel containing 4% Lidocaine and 2% Tetracaine is applied all through out the second part of your procedure. Pain tolerance varies from client to client. Having the procedure done during your menstrual cycle may cause more sensitivity.
For Nano, we will not numb for the first pass which typically lasts about 30 minutes. This is because as soon as numbing is applied to the skin, the skin hardens and it becomes harder to implant pigment into the skin. Pain level during this first pass is low, and numbing will be applied directly after the first pass and throughout the rest of the session to ensure you are comfortable.
YOU CANNOT RECEIVE A COSMETIC TATTOO IF YOU ARE:

HOW CAN I PREPARE FOR MY APPOINTMENT?

WHAT CAN I EXPECT IMMEDIATELY AFTER MY APPOINTMENT?
Day 1 - Your brows are fresh :)
Day 2 to 5 - Your brows may appear darker due to oxidation in the surface layer of your skin. Your brows may appear warmer in color and you may experience some redness or swelling around the treated area. This should last no more than 48 hours.
Day 5 to 7 - Your brows will be flaking/crusting but remember not to pick at them!
Day 7 to 10 - The flaking/crusting has naturally fallen off and your brows are lighter but not to worry, they will be back. During the flaking stage, you may notice some areas may appear lighter than others or may have lost pigment entirely but this is normal. The epidermis layer of your skin is thicker and causes the pigment to hide underneath this layer.
Day 10 to 15 - The pigment will resurface to the skin and you'll start seeing your healed results! If some pigment does not return, this will be addressed at your Initial Touch-Up.
HOW LONG DOES THE COSMETIC TATTOO PROCEDURE TAKE?
Initial appointments take 2.5-3 hours. This includes the design process, numbing the area, selecting your pigment color, and the actual procedure. Touch-up sessions take approximately 1.5-2.5 hours.
I HAVE HAD MY BROWS TATTOOED BEFORE, CAN YOU FIX THEM/TOUCH THEM UP?
I require that anyone who has had their brows tattooed before by another artist send me a picture before booking their appointment. This way, we can discuss price, your options and schedule sufficient time. Any client coming to me from a different artist is considered a new client and will be charged full prices. My Touch-Up pricing is only for clients who have received their first session by me.
